About
OUR RUGS
Honoring Generations of Craftswomen
We are female founded and owned and work with an all female weaving team to craft our handmade rugs. We believe in celebrating the time-honored traditions of skill and artistry passed down from generation to generation, from great grandmother to great granddaughter.
Fully Custom & Effortlessly Curated
As we work directly with our artisans, any item in our collection can be modified to fit your ideal space. Email hello@erintalgotrading.com to schedule a design consultation today to share your vision and collaborate with our team on the rug of your dreams. Sizes of up to 20x20ft, asymmetrical shapes, and custom pantone matching are just a few of the possibilities.
Sustainable, Renewable & Naturally Dyed
Our rugs are crafted from 100% lambswool, a durable and renewable resource which has been used for generations to weave the highest quality rugs. Our dyes receive their signature hues from fruit, vegetables, and spaces such as turmeric, indigo, pomegranate, and saffron. From sheep to loom, we focus on honoring nature and supporting a greener planet.

Our Greater Mission: Empowering Women
- We partner directly with our craftswomen and are a 100% woman owned and founded business. We refuse to work with black market rug suppliers that exploit and take the majority of profits from female weavers.
- Free a Girl: With each rug purchase, a portion of sales is donated to the Free a Girl foundation helping save women and children from sex trafficking globally. In 2023, we began this partnership and our first two rugs were donated to Free a Girl’s silent auction generating $24,000.
